Hamm Real Estate Co. was founded in early 2024 by St. Paul-based agent and broker, Mariah Hamm. We are proud to be among Minnesota’s few queer-owned boutique real estate brokerages. All of our agents are members of the LGBTQ+ community or committed allies, and that shapes how we show up for our clients.
We’re here to create a space where agents and clients alike feel seen, supported, and informed – with clear communication and transparency throughout the process.
That means we’re selective about the agents we bring on board, not in an exclusive way, but in an intentional one. We’re looking for agents who lead with integrity, who love the neighborhoods they serve, and who believe that every client deserves expert representation.
We are community builders, resource sharers, and good stewards of our homes and the spaces we exist in.

Simple Splits
After 5+ years as an independent agent at various boutique brokerages, Mariah saw one thing that was missing – abundance. At HREC our goal is to lead with abundance. Our agent commission splits are simple: a straight 90/10. No caps to keep track of, no royalties, no confusing math.
Bold Marketing
When we started Hamm Real Estate Co we felt that good marketing was hard to find in real estate. So we put a lot of thought and intention into ours. Our agents get access to the HREC brand in a multitude of platforms – from beautiful, tangible homebuyer guides, to digital relocation flipbooks, soft-touch business cards, and more. Our agents and their listings stand out in a sea of poor design.
Modern Office
We have a brick-and-mortar office space in Saint Paul that our agents are free to use 24/7/365. We think of our office as more than a place to work. It’s a community hub that is open to agents, clients, and neighbors alike. Use it anytime, for whatever you need, at no cost.
