Hamm Real Estate Co. was founded in early 2024 by St. Paul-based real estate agent and broker, Mariah Hamm. We are proud to be among Minnesota’s few queer-owned boutique real estate brokerages. All of our agents are members of the LGBTQ+ community or committed allies, and that shapes how we show up for our clients. That same care shapes how we build with agents, too.

We help agents build the values-aligned, sustainable, sane real estate business they got into this industry for in the first place. A community that celebrates you and a leadership team that has your back.

After several years as an independent agent at various boutique real estate brokerages, Mariah saw one thing consistently missing: an abundance mindset. Instead, Mariah found a lot of ego and greed within the industry, seemingly at every corner. When she started Hamm her motto was to prove to people that you can be a good person, lead with abundance, and build a successful business. Abundance is the whole foundation for Hamm Real Estate Co and it shows up in everything we do: from the splits, leads, and brick and mortar office space.

The Brand & Marketing

When we started Hamm Real Estate Co we felt that good marketing was hard to find in real estate. So we put a lot of thought and intention into ours. Agents get access to the HREC brand in a multitude of platforms – from beautiful, tangible homebuyer guides, to digital relocation flipbooks, soft-touch business cards, and more. HREC agents and their listings stand out in a sea of poor design.

The Split

90/10 from agent-sourced clients. No caps, no royalties, no monthly desk fees, no confusing math.

Brokerage Leads

A lot of brokerages promise leads and never deliver, or outsource to Zillow and call it a “perk” to agents. Our leads come from our own sphere – real relationships, not purchased contacts. In 2025, Hamm Real Estate Co connected 44 warm leads to agents, averaging a $355k price point.

Saint Paul Office Space

We have a brick-and-mortar office space in the Macalester-Groveland neighborhood of Saint Paul that agents are free to use 24/7/365. We think of our office more as a community hub rather than a place for a desk.

Business Support

Every agent gets E&O insurance, transaction management software, two business reviews a year with the broker, a multi-day annual business planning workshop, and memberships to Quorum and the Saint Paul Chamber of Commerce.
