Saturday, June 6th was a monumental day in Hamm Real Estate Co’s history! We hosted our grand opening party and officially welcomed our community into our new office space in Saint Paul’s Macalester-Groveland neighborhood.
Y’all did not disappoint! It was the first weekend of summer, and with so many fun events happening around the Twin Cities, it meant the world that you showed up, or popped in, even if just for a few minutes.
A huge shoutout to local queer illustrator Harper Steinbach, who drew beautiful portraits of attendees all afternoon, and to 2 Scoops Eatery for their incredibly delicious ice cream.
Also, thank you to our partners for the event: Janae Lyon at Luminate Bank and Jean Cole and her team at All American Title.
Most importantly, a deep and sincere thank you to every person who came through. We feel so loved, seen, and supported, and we don’t take that for granted.
When I started Hamm Real Estate Co, I didn’t have a space where I felt like I belonged as an outwardly-queer real estate agent, so I started creating the room I wanted to be in. This party was the culmination of 7 years of creating that room. And it truly felt like a full circle moment.
I can’t wait to see all that’s yet to come for our agents and clients. This is just the beginning.
With so much love,
Mariah
